Injectable treatments
Below is a description of the aesthetic treatments I offer at the clinic in Skövde – from anti-wrinkle treatments and fillers to skin-improving treatments.
Muscle-relaxing medicine
Anti-wrinkle treatment
Anti-wrinkle treatment with a muscle-relaxing medicine is an injectable that can reduce expression lines and prevent them from deepening. My focus is always a natural, harmonious result where your personal expression is preserved.
Treatment is preceded by an individual medical assessment. Before your first aesthetic injectable treatment, a consultation and at least 48 hours of reflection time are required.
How does the treatment work?
The treatment uses a prescription muscle-relaxing medicine that has been used in medicine for more than 30 years. Small, precisely dosed amounts are injected into selected muscles.
The signal between nerve and muscle is temporarily reduced, so the muscle relaxes and the skin above becomes smoother. The effect is temporary and broken down naturally by the body. Correctly dosed, you still look like yourself – just more rested.
A free follow-up visit is offered about 14 days after treatment to review the result.

Treatment areas
Forehead, frown lines & crow’s feet
Softens expression lines in one, two or three areas and prevents them deepening. Full effect after approx. 14 days, usually lasts 3–4 months.
Full face
Forehead, frown lines, crow’s feet, bunny lines, brows, lip flip, mouth corners and chin can be treated for a balanced, fresher look.
Lip flip & gummy smile
Lip flip makes the upper lip show more when smiling without filler. Gummy smile reduces visible gums. Lasts approx. 2–3 months.
Bunny lines & chin
Softens the lines on the sides of the nose and smooths a dimpled chin. Often lasts approx. 3 months.
Downturned mouth (DAO)
Relaxes the muscles pulling the mouth corners down – for a softer, less tired expression without adding volume.
Brow lift
A subtle lift of the outer brow for a more open, rested look. Often lasts 3–4 months.
Jaw muscles (Masseter)
Reduces activity in strong jaw muscles and can gradually give a slimmer, softer lower face.
Nefertiti lift
Targets the platysma neck muscles for a clearer jawline and smoother neck. Often lasts 3–4 months.
Hyperhidrosis
Reduces excessive sweating in the underarms or hands by blocking signals to the sweat glands. Often lasts 4–7 months.
Skin booster with muscle-relaxing medicine
Superficial injections that reduce fine lines, make pores less visible and reduce oil production.
Hyaluronic acid
Fillers
With hyaluronic acid filler we can create soft volume, improve symmetry and enhance your natural contours. Every treatment is tailored to your facial anatomy and wishes.
The result is usually visible immediately, but the final look is assessed once any swelling has settled. Filler can be dissolved with Hyalase if needed.
What are fillers?
Fillers are a gel made of hyaluronic acid – the same substance your body produces to keep skin hydrated and supple. Over the years the natural amount decreases, so the skin loses volume and folds become more visible.
The gel is injected exactly where it is needed, binds water and supports the tissue. It is slowly broken down by the body and can be dissolved with the enzyme hyaluronidase if needed.

Marionette lines
Softens the lines from the mouth corners to the chin that can give a tired or downturned look.
Chin & jawline
Improves chin shape and projection and defines the jawline for a clearer transition to the neck.
Temples
Restores lost temple volume for a softer transition between forehead and cheekbones.
Tear trough
Reduces hollows under the eyes for a more rested look. Requires a careful assessment.
Non-surgical nose
Can smooth minor irregularities and improve the nose contour and profile without surgery.
Hyalase
An enzyme that dissolves previous hyaluronic acid filler in case of unwanted volume, asymmetry or irregularities.
Skin boosters · Collagen stimulation
Skin quality
Skin-improving injectables strengthen the skin from within. Skin boosters hydrate and add glow, while biostimulating treatments boost the skin’s own collagen production.
Results develop gradually, and a course of treatments tailored to your skin is often recommended. A consultation and medical assessment are required before treatment.
Skin booster or collagen stimulation?
Skin boosters such as Profhilo and NCTF 135 HA are based on hyaluronic acid and give intense hydration, elasticity and glow. Vitaran with polynucleotides supports the skin’s natural repair processes.
Sculptra and Radiesse stimulate your own collagen production and improve firmness and texture. The effect builds over several months for a discreet, natural change.

Poly-L-lactic acid that boosts your own collagen, gradually improving firmness and volume over several months.
Radiesse
Gives initial volume and long-term collagen stimulation for firmer skin. The effect can last approx. 12–18 months.
Profhilo
High-concentration hyaluronic acid for hydration and bounce. Usually two sessions about 4 weeks apart.
Vitaran
Polynucleotides that support skin repair – better texture, elasticity and a more even tone without volume.
NCTF 135 HA
Hyaluronic acid, vitamins and amino acids for tired, dull or dehydrated skin. Often as a course.
Spider vein treatment
Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy is an injectable treatment where a sclerosing agent is injected into the affected vessels, causing them to gradually close and become less visible.
The result develops gradually over the following weeks and months. Several sessions are sometimes needed. An individual medical assessment is always made before treatment.

Before treatment
Avoid alcohol, blood-thinning medication and Omega-3/fish oil for a few days before treatment. Come without make-up if possible.
Important to keep in mind!If you are ill or have an infection in the treatment area, the appointment should be rescheduled.

Treatment
The area is cleansed and the treatment is performed gently, with anaesthetic if needed.
Aftercare
- Avoid exercise, sauna and heat for 24 hours.
- Avoid massaging or pressing the treated area, unless I have given you other specific instructions.
- Avoid alcohol the day before and the day after treatment.
- Contact the clinic if you have questions or feel concerned.
Treatments are not performed on pregnant or breastfeeding women or persons under 18.
Frequently asked questions
Does it hurt?
Most people find the treatment mildly uncomfortable rather than painful. I use very fine needles, and most filler products contain anaesthetic. Numbing cream can be used if needed.
Will I look natural?
Yes, that is always the goal. I work with careful doses and would rather build the result gradually than do too much. You should look like yourself – just rested and fresh.
How long does the result last?
Muscle-relaxing medicine usually lasts 3–4 months and fillers 6–12 months, depending on the area, the product and your own metabolism.
Are there side effects?
Temporary redness, swelling or small bruises may occur and usually settle within a few days. Serious complications are rare, and we go through all risks during the consultation.
Who cannot be treated?
We do not treat pregnant or breastfeeding women, anyone under 18 or anyone with an active infection in the area. Some conditions and medications may also matter – we go through this during the consultation.
Can I go back to work straight away?
Yes, most people return to everyday life immediately. Avoid exercise, sauna and alcohol for the first 24 hours, and do not press or massage the treated area.
What if I am not happy?
We offer a follow-up visit after about two weeks to review the result. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved if needed.
